The Nov. 11 Oxford Schools Board of Education meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. in the administration building, has been cancelled.
Instead, school officials would like to encourage everyone to attend the Oxford Middle School Choir’s Veteran’s Day concert at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium. The event will feature singing, drumming and the Honor Guard presented by the Disabled American Veterans.
And as if the great entertainment won’t be enough, the evening will start off with a buffet spread at 6 p.m. provided by Olive Garden. The meal will include a choice of cheese ravioli, lasagna or spaghetti with marinara meat sauce; salad; bread sticks; drinks and cookies.
The cost for the meal is $10 per student, $15 per adult, $25 per couple or $35 per family ticket. Your check is your ticket for the meal, so either please call 248-969-5121 for more information or send a check made out to Oxford Middle School Choir to Oxford Middle School, Care Of: Jan Flynn, 745 N. Oxford Rd., Oxford, Mich., 48371. Please include the number of people who will be attending.
