According to Judge Advocate Carnie Jackson of the 18th District of the American Legion, Southfield-based Edge Construction has been fired from its job working on the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, due to delays and poor quality. Jackson said the federal government has stepped in and hopes to have the cemetery ready for fast-track burials by the end of October.
