Couple offers cutting-edge dental care

Married couple Amy and Brian Davidson of Professional Dental of Clarkston offers state-of-the-art care at their new practice on Sashabaw Road.
‘The office is completely paperless, no charts, digital x-rays, all top-of-the-line equipment, patient beverage station ? a very high-tech office,? said Brian, 2003 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. ‘We want what’s best for our patients.?
Each treatment room is equipped with a flatscreen, plasma HD television mounted for viewing by patients.
‘They can bring in DVD movies or watch some cable TV,? he said.
Monitors will also be used to display x-rays and videos illustrating dental procedures, he said.
The couple, who met in dental school and married in 2006, lives in Birmingham. They plan to move to the Clarkston area to be close to the office.
‘We researched the area and liked Clarkston,? he said. ‘It’s a nice place to live and work. It has a small-town feel, but not too far from the big city.?
‘I’m looking forward to moving here,? said Amy, who grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2003. ‘I love it. It feels like home.?
Brian offers general dentistry and cosmetics, and Amy specializes in braces for children and adults. She is in the final phase of a two-year orthodontic training program, based out of Los Angeles, Calif.
