Crossroads for Youth, a nonprofit that works with at-risk and disadvantaged youth and their families throughout Michigan, announced today the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors.
The additions bring the board’s total to 14 members. Joining the board are::
Nancy McAuliffe, a pricing specialist for Remarketing, VW Credit, Inc., has been with the company since 2005, serving in various positions.
Previously, McAuliffe held a position as a business procedures/cost consultant for MetLife Insurance.
She also volunteers with the Special Olympics, Relay for Life and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Additionally, last year McAuliffe organized, promoted and managed Crossroad for Youth’s Gingerbread Run (a one mile fun run and 5K that took place on campus).
She received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University. McAuliffe resides in Oxford.
Joe Kent , a senior partner of Kent & Edwards Tax Advisors LLC, is a tax professional and enrolled agent who is admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.
Kent is on the board of directors and serves as a treasurer of the Virginia-based Masters of Foxhounds Association of America (MFHA) and the MFHA Foundation.
He is a member of the Rotary Club of Lake Orion and previously served on the board of directors for the Metamora Hunt club. Kent is the founder and past owner of Lake Orion’s Padgett Business Services.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University’s College of Business and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Kent is a resident of Addison Township.
