Glitz of Clarkston, 7198 Ortonville Road, hosts a cut-a-thon fundraiser, 11 a.m., Sunday April 19, for Clarkston Mom Squad.
Mom Squad members Shelley Schafer, Danette Meny and Melanie Traver are traveling to Nicaragua, May 16, with the group Living Water International to help drill a well for a local village. They will also work with mothers and children in the village, teaching them proper hygiene to prevent illness and dehydration. All proceeds go to the trip. Cost for women’s cut and style is $42; eyebrow waxing, $15. Customers will be entered into a raffle for prizes.
