Deputies forced to taser combative man

A man being arrested for domestic violence was tasered after refusing to obey instructions from a deputy on Sept. 10.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, deputies responded to a home on Coats Road around midnight, after receiving a domestic violence complaint.
On the deputies? arrival, the responsible male ran out the back door and was found at a neighbor’s house.
The subject failed repeatedly to comply with direct verbal commands from deputies, and kicked at the officers.
A deputy deployed his taser to the man’s buttocks in an attempt to take control of the situation.
After the taser deployment, the man calmed down. He was arrested for resisting and obstructing a police officer, in addition to domestic violence.
