The National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators announced that Ada L. Land, R.N., Diabetes Counselor, of Clarkston, has achieved Certified Diabetes Educator status by successfully completing the Certification Examination for Diabetes Educators.
She is currently employed by Drs., Ainhorn, Bowman, Crandall, Hramits, Merrelli, Neal and Schlabach of Rochester Hills.
Candidates must meet rigorous education and professional practice experience requirements to be eligible to take the examination. There are currently more than 13,000 Diabetes Educators who hold the CDE credential.
