Douglas Eugene Schmedlen, of Bradenton, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2012. He was 67.
He was a school teacher in Michigan for a number of years.
He is survived by wife, Rose, daughter, Melissa and mother, Rhoda Schmedlen, brother, Dennis and sister, Mary.
He was preceded in death by son, Nathan, and father, Eugene.
