Dr. Stephen E. Hershey, an Independence Township orthodontist, was elected to the American Association of Orthodontist Foundation (AAOF) Board of Directors representing the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists.
The AAOF is a charitable arm of the American Association of Orthodontists. Its mission is to raise endowment funds used to support research awards and teaching fellowships that benefit the specialty of orthodontics, its practitioners and patients.
‘I am grateful to be of service to the specialty of orthodontics and to ensure the future of quality care,? stated Dr. Hershey.
Dr. Hershey graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and completed an additional four years of advanced training in orthodontics at the University of Chicago and the University of Michigan. He specializes in orthodontics for children. He resides in Independence Township with his wife Patti and three of their six children.
