KETT, EILEEN (SHERK) of Ortonville, Michigan, age 95, passed away on August 17, 2022. Eileen was born on December 18, 1926 in Leamington, Ontario, Canada, daughter of the late Richard and Josie (Reid) Sherk. Eileen married James Kett on November 17, 1945 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2006 after 60 years of marriage. Eileen was a proud former member of the Avon Presidents Club in Troy and was a member of Ortonville United Methodist Church. She loved county music, reading books and watching TV shows- especially game shows.

Eileen is survived by her daughters, Carol (James) Wallace and Deborah Martin; grandchildren, Kimberly (Greg) Phillips, Jennifer (Dane) Martin-Granlund, Shanna (Chris) Girrbach, Andrew (Jennifer) Martin, Jason (Danielle) Martin; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Josie, Grayson, Tessa, Allison, Austin, Jackson, Faith, Ruth, Annalise, Gabe and Christopher. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James; sister, Joy Corbett; and son-in-law, Douglas Martin. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2022 at VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME, 135 South Street, Ortonville, Michigan. Rev. Susan Walls officiating. Interment will follow at Ortonville Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
