Elementary kids vote Bush

George W. Bush definitely had the elementary school student vote locked up around here.
Leonard, Clear Lake and Daniel Axford elementaries each held mock presidential elections this week. Bush swept all of them by a landslide.
In Leonard Elementary’s mock election Monday, Republican Bush trounced Democratic challenger John Kerry by a margin of 211 to 87.
At Clear Lake yesterday, Bush stomped Kerry in both the popular and electoral votes. In the popular vote, Bush won 364 to 131. In the electoral vote, he obliterated Kerry 157 to 0.
Daniel Axford students Tuesday overwhelmingly chose Bush over Kerry by a vote of 199 to 93.
Bush and Kerry were the only choices on each school’s ballots, which greatly upset independent candidate Ralph Nader. The Pretend Supreme Court was not needed to decide any of the mock election outcomes.
