End of grillin’, start of chillin’

WINTER HAS BEGUN! ? The Oxford-Addison area received its first snowfall of the season Wednesday, Nov. 24. Approximately 4-to-5 inches of snow coated the ground, giving everyone a white Thanksgiving the next day. Oxford Village DPW Superintendent Don Brantley said his department was ‘ready to go? when the dreaded white stuff began to fall. Three DPW workers spent 2? hours Wednesday night and three hours Thursday morning clearing and salting village streets, sidewalks and parking lots. Temperatures warmed up Friday and all the snow was gone by Saturday. Photo by C.J. Carnacchio.
