Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Schmitz of Lake Orion are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Abigail Schmitz, to Erik Sauro, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Sauro, of Lake Orion.
‘The bride-to-be is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. She is currently working as a Sales Representative for the Kellogg Company.
The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy . Erik currently works as a Staff Accountant for Sanyo North America Corporation in Wood Dale, IL.
Both Abigail and Erik are 2003 graduates of Lake Orion High School. ‘The couple currently resides in Chicago, IL and plans to marry June 19th 2010 in Lake Orion.

Dean and Luann Bancroft of Ortonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle, to Rob Haas, son of Bob and Sherry Haas of Ortonville. The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Brandon High School and graduated in 2007 from Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is currently employed at Saks Fifth Avenue as a customer service coordinator. The groom-to-be is also a 2003 BHS graduate and is currently attending Baker College where he is pursuing a degree in business management. He is currently employed as a UPS supervisor and at Gunner’s Meters & Parts. A June wedding is planned at Addison Oaks. The couple will honeymoon in Jamaica and reside in Holly.
