Engagements

Mr. and Mrs. David Caponi, of Lake Orion, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Caponi, to Forrest Nesbitt, of Portland, OR.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Lake Orion High School. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in photojournalism and received her master’s in Public Administration from Portland State University. Christina is currently working at her own business, Outside My Studio, specializing in children’s photography in an outside, natural setting.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Nesbitt of Portland, OR. He graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS with a Bachelor of Art degree in history. Forrest is currently employed by Portal Capital as a senior vice-president in marketing.
Welcoming Christina into their family are her stepsons, Kellen and Cooper Nesbitt, of Portland, OR.
A 2010 spring wedding is planned in Michigan.

Mr. & Mrs. Mark Zuzelski announce the engagement of their son Christopher to Dr. Ashley Adamczyk of Clark Lake.
Chris is a 2000 graduate of Lake Orion and 2005 graduate of Kettering University. He is currently employed at Ford Motor Company.
Ashley is a 2008 graduate of Wayne State Medical School and is currently doing her residency in Grand Rapids at Spectrum Health.
A July wedding is planned in Petoskey.

Austin and Adam Klebba of Clarkston are happy to announce the marriage of their mother, Angie Klebba, to Kevin Pesta of Lake Orion in May. Kevin is the father of Melanie Pesta-Lawless of Ortonville and Tiffany Pesta-Anton of Blackburg, VA.
Kevin is a strategic account manager with the Simmons Bedding Company and Angie is a Senior Unit Leader with PartyLite Candles.
The couple will reside in Clarkston.

Darren Christopher Collier and Megan Melissa Hess are pleased to announce their engagement.
Megan is originally from Sault Ste. Marie, where her parents, Christopher and Janet still reside. She is a 2003 graduate of Sault Area High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in literature and editing from Michigan Technological University in 2007. Megan is currently a reporter for The Lake Orion Review in Lake Orion.
Darren, originally from Leonard, is a 2002 graduate of Oxford High School. He also attended Michigan Technological University where he studied civil engineering. Darren currently works for Ajax Paving in Rochester. His parents, Lawrence and Kathleen, reside in Leonard.
Darren and Megan live in Auburn Hills and are planning a September wedding in the Upper Peninsula.

McCullough-Nemer
Janis and Alexander Nemer of Ortonville are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Daniel, to Shannon McCullough, daughter of Glenn and Sherrie McCullough of New Baltimore.
A June wedding is planned.

Boa-Krafcik
Lindsay Boa of Grand Blanc and Zachary Krafcik of Goodrich announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be graduated from Michigan State University and is employed at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club. She is the daughter of Donald Boa of Grand Blanc and the late Barbara Boa.
The groom-to-be attended Mott Community College and is employed at Tom Ryan Distributing in Flint. He is the son of the late Robert Krafcik and Larry and Debbie Krafcik-Shuster
A May wedding in Grand Blanc is planned.

Lasanen-Rathburg
Bill and Jan Rathburg of Ortonville announce the engagement of their son, Rob, to Katherine Lasanen of Houghton, the daughter of Sandy and Dennis Lasanen of Lake Linden.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Calumet High School and a graduate of Finlandia University.
The groom-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Brandon High School and a graduate of Michigan Tech University.
A June wedding is planned.

Stachelek-Witek
Henry and Linda Stachelek of Ortonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Natalee, to Joseph Witek, son of Paul and Sandra Witek of Goodrich.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Brandon High School and graduated in 2007 from Oakland University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
The groom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Goodrich High School and graduated in 2004 from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He recently graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a master’s degree in engineering management and is employed at Chrysler as an electrical engineer. He is working on a master’s degree in business administration.
An October wedding is planned and the couple will reside in Clarkston.
