Explosive device hits vehicle

A driver said his vehicle was hit in the area of Hammerslea and Candlewick on Oct. 17.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, a 30-year-old Gregory road man said he was driving east on Candlewick when something hit the left side of his vehicle.
He looked in the rearview mirror and saw flames in the middle of the road, as well as four white male juveniles running from the scene, heading north.
The man described them as 15-16 years of age, one wearing a black skull cap and black and red Fox Racing jacket, with white lettering.
He said the responsible had medium length blonde hair.
The man’s vehicle was not damaged, and deputies did find an explosive device in the roadway.
