The Greening family is looking for the community’s help to find their lost dog Rex.
Rex is a friendly, one-year-old yellow Mastiff terrier mix who weighs between 70-80 pounds. He was wearing a blue collar that had an identification tag.
He was last seen on Monday, Oct. 25 near the family’s home on Haven Rd. in Leonard after he ran off after a deer with the family’s two other dogs. According to Michelle Greening, they didn’t think anything of it at the time since their dogs have gone after deer before and have always returned. This time only two came back.
Since then they have hunted everywhere for Rex, but have not been able to find their family pet. ‘My nine-year-old and ten-year-old girls, along with myself and my husband are very upset,? she said. ‘We’re trying everything we can to get him back home. We love our dogs…they’re part of the family.?
A reward is being offered for anyone who can bring Rex home. Call (248) 514-4959 or (248) 969-0620 with information about his whereabouts. ? Andrew Moser
