Local researcher Joette Kunse and members of the Daughters of the American Revolution lead a Beginning Genealogy Workshop, 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Oct. 31, at Independence Township Library, 6495 Clarkston Road.
The workshop is for beginners and will focus on census records, gathering family facts, searching websites, and completing family charts. It is free and open to the public, and sponsored by the Clarkston Historical Society and Independence Township Library. For more information, call the library at 248-625-2212.
