Brandon Twp.— Fenton 66-53. On Nov. 5, the Blackhawks opened the 2022-23 season at home with a 66-53 loss to the Fenton Tigers.
BHS Sr. Guard #5 Joey Norris led the way for the Blackhawks with 12 points, BHS Jr. Guard #32 Drew Hickmott 9, and BHS Jr. Guard #30 Brody Berchiolly and BHS Sr. Center #33 Olin Mastin had 8 each.
“We played very hard and even had our chances to win,” said Mike Stewart, Brandon Varsity coach.
“This team is full of great character and we have great leaders,” he said. “It’s only a matter of time. We’re going to be a very good team soon.”
