Foamy and Fizzy

Teacher Joanna Brennan’s kindergarten class at Oxford Christian Academy got a hands-on lesson Friday about things that are “foamy and fizzy.”
The inquisitive tykes investigated everyday items such as shaving cream, hair mousse, vinegar mixed with baking soda, soda pop, whipped cream and pop rocks candy to determine which substances were “foamy” and which were “fizzy.”
Students concluded their day by mixing and eating root beer floats, which are both foamy and fizzy ? not to mention delicious!
