Back by popular demand, it’s the second annual Lake Orion Women’s Football 101 Camp, set for Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Dragon Stadium.
The camp is conducted by the LOHS football coaches and offers the excitement of experiencing Dragon football to any moms, sisters or friends age 18 and older.
New this year is a special chalk talk and film session. Participants should dress in work-out clothes and gym shoes, in preparation for football drills and specific training positions.
Spectators are welcome free of charge. The participant fee is $40, which includes a special t-shirt and a raffle ticket for prizes.
Dinner and refreshments will be held at G’s Pizzeria on Lapeer Road after the camp, with the Dragon PEPP Club receiving 20-percent of total sales.
