Forging ahead

Several Girl Scout troops from Clarkston participated in a special ‘Bridging? ceramony in June to celebrate an important transition in their life. The ceremony is symbolic of defining moments in life when a girl is said to be aware of her acheivements, and also ready to embrace new responsibilities and challenges. At the event , Rebekah Howell said as girls crossed the bridge, they began a new chapter in life. Over 10 troops from the area partcipated in the occasion.
Girl Scouts of America participate in activities said to build courage, character and confidence within the young ladies, while also making the world a better place.
