Frederic W. Howard of Ortonville born June 20,1930 in Brockton, Massachusetts. Died November 23, 2021.

Survived by his wife Sue, son Mark Howard (Toni), daughters Heidi Keesling and Marcy (Bob) Merrill, four grandchildren Jamie, Alex (Samantha), Molly and Ashley Keesling, and two great grandchildren (Jacob and Jolie Keesling).

Attended DePauw University in Indiana where he met his wife Sue. Spent two years in the 3rd armored division U.S. Army. He was an English professor at General Motors Institute for several years and later ran Aqua engineers, a mail order company which sold aquarium supplies. He enjoyed trees, playing poker, writing, reading, and his cats. A private family service will be held.
