Detroit Voice is performing a free concert at First Congregational Church, 5449 Clarkston Road, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. Admission is free, donations accepted.
Detroit Voice is a Clarkston High School a cappella vocal group singing Detroit-inspired music from throughout the decades. They use only the human voice to recreate the Detroit sound with mixed voices and a vocal percussionist/beatboxer.
The performers have been leads in musicals, involved in school choirs, and regularly perform in competitions such as the International Championship of High School A Cappella. Detroit Voice CDs will be available to purchase at the concert for $10 each.
