The Lake Orion freshman girls volleyball team opened the season by winning the 2007 Oxford Invitational.
The Dragons qualified for the finals by finishing with seven wins and three losses in round robin play. In the finals, they won the first two games, 25-17 and 25-21, to claim their first tournament championship.
