Callers reported three subjects engaging in malicious mischief on N. Washington Rd. The three individuals were seen throwing objects over the roof of a residence. The object turned out to be a football.
Suspicious persons on Pontiac St. turned out to be two individuals selling items door to door.
Officers assisted a mother with picking up her children from their father’s home on Hovey St.
A father on Hudson St. was seen yelling and throwing things at the front of the house. The scene turned out to be a misunderstanding, one of the home’s children actually fell against one of the windows and broke it.
Suspicious person on Glaspie St. turned out to be an intoxicated male walking down the roadway.

Wednesday, September 24
Police sent a man on his way who was found sleeping in a public trail area at the dead end of Pearl St.
A disabled vehicle at the intersection of Glaspie St. and Lakeville Rd. became a traffic hazard for other motorists.
Police assisted a motorist in the northwest quadrant parking lot.
Chief Jack Leroy was contacted to investigate a natural gas leak at Pat’s Place. The fire chief did find a slight odor both inside and outside the establishment. Consumers Energy was contacted.
Thursday, September 25
During the night, an unknown individual broke into The Tan Company on N. Washington St. and damaged several items including a CD player and a tanning bed.
A 36-year-old Leonard resident was stopped for swerving along Lakeville Rd. and found to be driving with a suspended license.
Suspicious circumstance on Pontiac St. turned out to be a light left on in a building.
Friday, September 26
Suspicious circumstance at the Oxford Party Shop turned out to be a woman requesting police assistance.
An Oxford man reported some accidental property damage when some paint from the water tower fell on his vehicle.
A Broadway St. resident reported losing his wallet at the Oxford Party Shop. He later called again to state he found the missing items.
Several juveniles were reported for trespassing and skating on a Pleasant St. resident’s property.
Administrators at Oxford High School contacted the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department after the message “Death Becomes Clear” was found written in masking tape across a group of second floor lockers.
A Lakesview Dr. resident contacted police after seeing a suspicious vehicle “at her house and she thinks she is being stalked.” The man in the vehicle came to her front door at one point and asked if she wanted to sell the swingset in her yard.
Employees at Starbucks called police because several kids were coming in and out of the store and some items were coming up missing. The staff requested an officer to please move the youths along.
A Delano Rd. resident filed a fraud report after learning that an unknown individual had opened a Target account with his name and address, and charged $700 worth of merchandise.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call at Oxford High School of a possible gun on the premises. Upon investigation, the deputies learned that two males youths were having an argument over money exchanged for the purchase of drugs, when one of the boys threatened the other that he had a gun. The 15-year-old youth who made the threat told authorities he did not have a gun, and he only made the threat so he would not be beat up. A search of the youth’s locker revealed no weapon; however, the student was expelled from school because of the situation. Both boys were warned by deputies about their criminal behavior.

A resident on Pontiac St. reported a white car damaging their lawn.
Suspicious circumstance on Cherry Hills Court turned out to be kids running through backyards and ringing doorbells.
Two vehicles were reportedly drag racing down Louck St.
Saturday, September 27
Suspicious circumstance at Rob’s Place, on S. Washington St., turned out to be a mis-dialed 911 call that had muffled noises in the background.
Parking complaint on East St.
An Oxford woman came into the Oxford Village Police Station around 5 p.m. “to talk to an officer about possible child neglect or abuse.”
Suspicious circumstance on W. Burdick St. turned out to be a man who parked his truck behind a business and then went out with some friends. The man was advised by police not to park his vehicle there unless a patron of the shops.
A 35-year-old Oxford Twp. man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor after being stopped at the intersection of Washington and Burdick streets for swerving.

Suspicious circumstance on Oxford Lakes Dr. turned out to be a resident who called “and thought maybe that someone was breaking into the home across the street.”
A caller from the Crawford St. apartments complained about a motorcycle driving through the complex over and over.
18-year-old on Second St. in Oxford Township reported receiving harassing telephone calls from an unknown individual.
Sunday, September 28
A 65-year-old Lake Orion man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor after being stopped for swerving around W. Burdick St.
A suspicious vehicle seen on Bay Pointe Dr. turned out to be a “chopper that keeps flying in the area.”

A 46-year-old man on Sunset Blvd. contacted police because his ex-wife had been trespassing around his home and damaged his motorcycle.
Suspicious circumstance at the intersection of Oxford Lakes Dr. and Glaspie St. turned out to be a witness who saw three teens drive over the common area entrance to Oxford Lakes.
Around 6:45 p.m., an employee from the Oxford Shell Station reported a drive off without paying.
