Kids going into third to seventh grade enjoyed Clarkston High School Musical Theatre Camp last week.
They learned four numbers from popular musicals while learning singing techniques and choregraphy. They also played theater games.
“Several of them blossomed. It was really nice to see,” said Amy Seaman, who ran the camp. “They came in really shy and within a few days they know each other. They do it because they enjoy it and it’s fun. It helps them become more confident adults. I am hoping to see many of them when they get to the high school level. “
The campers also learned tips from the drama club students and alum, Taylor Smith.
