Child-centered activities and community agencies were the highlights of the 13th Annual Family Fun Fest, held at the Community Education Resource Center on April 27.
The evening, presented by Lake Orion Schools, was free for families, and included a train ride, moonwalk and, of course, cotton candy.
Community agencies provided parent contacts that ranged from health services to local park programs. The Orion Township Library and Oakland County Sheriff’s Department were also in attendance.
Child activities ranged from face painting and collage making to a cakewalk and a giant inflatable slide. Pictured are five-year-old twins Nathan and Nina Rossman enjoying some cotton candy. Photo by Colin Baumgartner.
