From 5 p.m.-midnight, Oct. 3, a taco dinner fundraiser to benefit a Goodrich man stricken with colon cancer will take place at VFW Post 4087, 9474 Lapeer Road, Davison.
A taco dinner, live entertainment, raffles, silent auction and more are some of the features of a fundraiser to benefit a Goodrich man recently diagnosed with colon cancer.
Scott Perry, a 1989 Goodrich High School graduate and lifelong resident of the Goodrich and Davison areas, is the father of two children. Family and friends of Perry are hosting a taco dinner in his honor to help cover the costs of his medical treatment. Dinner is from 5-8 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 10 and under and includes dinner, a door prize ticket and entertainment from the Baker Street Band, a disc jockey and comedian Dave McDonald.
