The organization committee of the Downtown Lake Orion Main Street Program is beginning a drive to obtain e-mail addresses of area residents and commercial businesses.
The purpose in obtaining e-mail addresses is so that the group can keep area citizens informed about activities and events being scheduled in Downtown Lake Orion .
The DTLO group stages a number of events during the year, including the Resolution Run on Jan. 1, the Flower Fair in May, the Paint Creek Concert series in Children’s Park during the summer months, the Lighted Holiday Village in December and the Lighted Holiday Parade in December and various new business ribbon cutting ceremonies.
Other events are added to the calendar from time to time.
Local citizens who would like to be kept informed about downtown events and activities should either call the DTLO office at 248-693-9742 or send an e-mail message to Becky Goodman, DTLO coordinator at dtlobg@yahoo.com.
