Coach Amy Sarris said it was a ‘great game,? and complimented Kayli Kammerer’s team high 4 take-aways and Brooke Grubb’s 5 draw controls.
On Friday, OHS fell to Saginaw Heritage, 10-8. Emma Kimmel led all Wildcat scorers again with 3 goals, with Madi Eschberger and freshman Kayce Calcaterra each adding 2.
Coach Bausack was positive in spite of the loss, and considered that the ‘game will be a good learning experience for us.?
‘Saginaw Heritage,? he added, ‘played a solid game (yet) for us the consistency just wasn’t there tonight. . . .we played sloppily on both sides of the ball . . . we were either hot or cold.?
The OHS girls Lacrosse also lost 12-8 to visiting Stoney Creek Wednesday, April 18. Emma Kimmel led all Wildcats in scoring with 5 goals.
The girls lacrosse team now goes on an extended road trip. The next varsity home match will be at 7:00 p.m. on May 7 against North Farmington/Harrison.
