Led by Jackie Schram, the Clarkston girls golf team took eighth place at the Division 1 state finals at Michigan State University on June1 and 2.
Schram shot a 77 on both days and finished 10th overall in the state.
‘It was a good way to end my high school career,? Schram said. ‘To be in the top 10 out of all 375 girls throughout Michigan in Division 1 is a great accomplishment for me.?
Schram was also pleased with where the team finished at the state finals.
‘It was a good accomplishment and I was really happy,? Schram said. ‘It means a lot to the team and our coach to be ranked eighth in state and show everybody we are pretty good.?
Minjoee Lee shot a 167 to finish in the top 35.
Lu Kuhta had a score of 188, Ashley Blanc finished with a 194 and Sara Galbreath shot a 207.
