Atlas Twp. — Earlier this month, the Walk, Bike, Run Atlas Township recreational path committee selected the poster to promote Good Times in Goodrich, set for Aug. 6, 2022. The placards can be seen in various businesses in the Goodrich area.
This year the theme was “Plants and wildlife I see on the trail while riding my cool bike.” First place winners was a collaborative effort of Lindsay Fugate and Olivia Szyarto, both fifth grade students. Second place winner was Tenley Cox, fourth grade and third place winner was Ashlyn Molczyk. All are students at Oaktree Elementary School.
In its eighth year, the Walk, Bike, Run Atlas Township, has worked with Goodrich Schools along with the art teacher to promote biking and walking, along with the Good Times in Goodrich Festival.
