The Village of Goodrich will be open for trick-or-treating from 6-7:30 p.m., Oct. 31.
Due to the large number of children coming into neighborhoods, the council will sponsor a candy drive to help out those in need of additional treats. Residents are asked to drop off sealed bags of wrapped candy to the village office, or make a cash donations to buy candy, at 7338 South State Road between 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, 8 a.m.-5:p.m. Tuesday, 8:a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, 8 a.m-5 p.m. Thursday, and 8 a.m.- noon Friday. All donations must be made to the village office before noon, Oct. 30. Village residents in need of candy can call the village office at (810) 636-2570. Candy will be available for pick up at the village office between noon and 5 p.m., Oct. 30 and 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Oct. 31.
