Goodrich Village Clerk retirement set for January

Goodrich – After four council elections, a recall, a vote to dissolve the village and an election involving seven charter amendments, the village clerk is retiring.
Retirement plans have been in the works for about a year, said Gloria (Jeanie) Bradley following her announcement at the Goodrich village meeting Dec. 13.
Bradley, who’s been the Goodrich village clerk since 1996, will stay on as clerk until Jan. 26, 2005.
‘I’ve enjoyed working for the village, but now I’m in a different phase of my life. I just want time to be a grandma and stay home.?
Bradley is also known in Oakland County for her work with Pontiac schools, Sunny Vale Chapel in Waterford, and M.C. Homes in Ortonville.
Village officials are seeking a candidate with accounting and meeting experience to replace Bradley.
