A total of 350 kids descended on Seymour Lake Park Saturday afternoon to collect colored eggs and catch ping-pong balls dropped from a helicopter.
It was all part of the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Easter Bunny Bonanza.
Grab those eggs!
It was sheer madness at Seymour Lake Township Park Saturday afternoon as the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Department held its annual Easter Bunny Bonanza.
The event started with 300 kids scrambling across the field, collecting as many of the thousands of colored plastic Easter eggs as they could fit in their little buckets and bags.
Then a helicopter flew overhead and dumped thousands ping-pong balls on the park, which the kids promptly scooped up the minute they hit the ground.
After it was all over, each child was presented with their very own Easter basket full of all sorts of goodies. Bravo to the parks/rec. department for another terrific event. ? CJC
