H & R Block to handle DDA finances

A $1,200 budget amendment request was approved 5-0 by the Oxford Village Council last week so as to allow the Downtown Development Authority to hire H&R Block to handle its auditing and accounting services.
H&R Block will charge the DDA an hourly rate of $45 per hour with a maximum monthly charge of $400.
The DDA sought the services of an outside financial consultant because the bookkeeping being done by the village administration wasn’t providing accurate and clear records, according to DDA Chairman Mark Young. ? CJ
