Halloween hours, candy screening, Parade Grand Marshal announced

Trick-or-treating correction
On Saturday, Oct. 30 Addison Township and the Village of Leonard will celebrate Halloween from 6-7 p.m.
After trick-or-treating, the Addison Township Fire Department will host cider and donuts at the old fire hall (Lakeville Rd.) at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, Oct. 31 the village and township of Oxford will be celebrated trick-or-treating from 6-7 p.m.
The Oxford Fire Department will serve cider and donuts at Station 1 (N. Washington and Church streets).

Free Halloween Candy Screening
On Sunday, Oct. 31 The Health First Medical Center, 1375 S. Lapeer Road, in Lake Orion, will provide free x-ray candy screening from 6 p.m.- 10 p.m.
Health First Medical Center said children should trick or treat only in familiar areas where they know the residents. If unsure of the area, have all candy x-rayed.

Parade Grand Marshal announced
The Oxford Chamber announced Thursday that Oxford resident Duane Salswedel will be the Grand Marshal of its 2004 Christmas parade on Saturday, December 4.
‘The chamber chose Duane because he has done so much ? serving in many capacities to make Oxford what it is today,? said Chamber President Dale Johnson.
This year’s parade theme is Disney.
