A public hearing will be held at Orion Township Hall on Oct. 6 for the purpose of taking public comment regarding a special assessment district for Square Lake (lake level).
The hearing will be held immediately following the 8 p.m. hearing on the Mill Lake Gardens SAD. The Square Lake #1 SAD is for water quality control (electricity cost for lake pump) on Square Lake. Set-up fees for the SAD are $1,039, and the assessment for 2005 is $15,058 (including estimate and set-up fees).
