Members of the Oxford High School National Honor Society raised about $300 on May 23 washing vehicles in the parking lot of the Oxford Market Place Mall. Proceeds from the event are being donated to the Pontiac-based Lighthouse of Oakland County, a non-profit organization which provides assistance to low-income families and senior citizens, helping them move from poverty and crisis to independence and self-sufficiency.
