Hodak predicts white Christmas

If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, there’s a good chance your dream will come true, says Jerry Hodak, chief meteorologist at WXYZ Channel 7 in Detroit.
Expect the weather to be a bit unsettled through Christmas Eve.
‘There’s potential for snow on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, but it may be mixed with a little rain,? he said in a Dec. 17 interview with The Citizen.
Historically, the chances of a white, snow-covered Christmas are approximately 46 percent, said Hodak, who has been forecasting weather since 1965 in the Detroit area.
‘I’m going to go out on a limb and say there’s a good chance we’ll have a white Christmas,? he said.
Hodak defines a white Christmas as one with at least an inch of snow on the ground.
‘With a little luck we might have cold temperatures come in and get one,? he said.
