Hundreds filled Lakeview Cemetery, Monday, to give meaning to Memorial Day.
American Legion Post 63 hosted the annual event, May 26, leading a parade including Clarkston High School band, vintage military vehicles, and veterans to the cemetery.
Clarkston Junior High School students Tim Dalrymple, Ryan Donnelly, Olivia Maday read essays they wrote on what Memorial Day means to them, and classmate Lilly Baer recited the Gettysburg Address.
