The Lake Orion High School boys varsity soccer team celebrated a first district game victory over Lakeland on Oct. 19 at Lake Orion, 3-1.
The Dragons? Grahme Doyle scored a goal and had two assists, while teammates Brandon Powell and Brian Hill each had a goal.
Lake Orion went up against the Clarkston Wolves in the district final, losing 2-1.
Powell was the only goal scorer for Lake Orion, as their record went to 13-8 in OAA I.
The Wolves? Mike Klemm scored in overtime before Clarkston’s Joel Parrish scored the team’s game-winner.
