Kids Kingdom gets $25,000 grant

Ronald McDonald House Charities presented a $25,000 grant check to the Oxford/Orion Optimists last week, which was then donated to the Kids Kingdom Community-Build Playground Project. So far, Kids Kingdom has raised $160,000 for project. Of that total, $130,000 was earmarked for play equipment and the remaining $30,000 for site work, pea stone to cover the play area’s surface and promotional/fund-raising expenses.
