Kristopher Richard Jonathon May of Ortonville died July 16, 2017.
He was 56.
Kris was born Feb. 21, 1961 in Highland Park, Michigan to Richard and Jacquelyn (nee: Davidson) May. He married the former Laurie Stairs on May 14, 1988 in Lake Orion, Mich. He is survived by his loving wife Laurie May; two children, Tyler May and Calley May; his father, Richard May; mother-in-law, Helen Stairs; two brothers-in-law, Charlie (Jennifer) Stairs and Andy (fiancé Pam) Stairs; and two nieces, Seneca and Sonja. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacquelyn May and one sister, Kathleen May.
Kris was a 1979 graduate of Brandon High School and went on to receive his law degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1988. A celebration of Kris’s life will be on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the family home. Arrangements were entrusted to Village Funeral Home, 135 South St., Ortonville.
