Lake Orion’s special education program said good luck to 42 Learning Options students last Monday at their graduation.
Keynote speaker Dan Haas, principal of Scripps Middle School, advised graduates to follow this formula in life: PLAN + GRIT = HAPPY LIFE, encouraging them to continue to use the grit they have shown in graduating for all future endeavors.
Highlights: Shantel Spear-Robinson received the Ambassador Scholarship and will be attending U of M Flint in the fall. DeMarco Wilson was recognized this year by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners with a proclamation for his score on the AFSVAB test. He scored double the required score for entrance into the military and was the top scorer of his recruiting class.
