Dear Editor,
This year’s Thanksgiving dinner was a big success. Thanks to all of the volunteers that helped out. To those who donated money or products, we’d like to thank: our loyal customers, Lake Orion Lions Club, Lake Orion Firefighters Association, Caramagno Foods, Del Bene Produce, Tom Stefanek Dist., Leonards Syrup, Metropolitan Baking Co., Sam’s Club and Unifirst Corp., Alice Young, CPA and The Rotary Club. The children from Christ the Redeemer Church did a wonderful job creating the beautiful placemats.
We were fortunate enough to have the folks at N.O.T.A who volunteered their time and buses to shuttle people to and from the restaurant. A big thank you to Paul.
We also extend a very special thank you to all of the people who worked so hard at the restaurant, serving and preparing food. We had a wonderful group of volunteers. We were very fortunate to have so many great people helping, including several children as wait staff. The Boy Scouts also lent a helping hand and let us not forget our very handsome doorman, Bud. It was a festive day and a great time was had by all.
Left over monies will be donated to the Lake Orion Lions Club for its Christmas basket program. Thank you again!
