The Addison Township Board of Trustees Jan. 19 approved a resolution recommending to the state transferring ownership of a Class C license to the new owners of the Lakeville Inn.
The new restaurant’s new owners are Linda Durante, of Westland, and Marcin Stocki, of Bloomfield Hills.
They declined, at this time, to offer any specific details of their plans for the restaurant located at 1318 Lakeville Rd.
The township board had to approve the resolution before the Michigan Liquor Control Commission could consider approval of the transfer application.
According to township Supervisor Bruce Pearson, they ask the community to pass a resoultion to make sure there haven’t been any problems with the establishment.
‘We’ve never had any problems with the Lakeville Inn. It’s a very nice family place,? said Pearson. ? Andrew Moser
