Earlier this season, Lake Orion grad Ashley Shugar, a junior at St. Xavier University and goalkeeper for the women’s soccer team, was named defensive player of the week in her conferance. She recorded her sixth shut out of the season and had a .00 goal average. Shugar is a 2007 Lake Orion High School Graduate and the daughter of Tom and Kelsey Shugar, of Lake Orion.
