Brandon Twp.- Among the police officers recognized during the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office annual awards ceremony May 9 were two who work to make the township safe.
Brandon Substation Detective Chris Pacholski, as well as Brandon Deputy Mike Garrison and his K-9 partner Bodi, were honored at the ceremony.
Pacholski received the sheriff’s special commendation award for his efforts in a breaking and entering case in Oxford in which three suspects were detained and subsequently confessed. He also received a professional excellence citation for his work as patrol investigator in Brandon. Pacholski has worked for the OCSO for 13 years, and came to work as a detective in the township a year ago.
Garrison and K-9 Bodi received a unit citation for professional excellence for their efforts. Garrison has been an OCSO deputy for several years and two years ago partnered with Bodi, a German Shepherd certified to track for people and drugs.
