LOHS grad raising money for mission trip

LOHS grad Kristina Hill is taking her love of volleyball to Tennessee this fall, where she will play for Carson Newman University, a NCAA Division ll school.
Her college team is starting their official training this August by doing an overseas mission trip with Ignite International to Nicaragua, where they visit orphanages, work with the Nicaraguan National Team conducting volleyball clinics and building relationships with underprivileged youth and teens. Kristina is excited about this unique opportunity to use her volleyball skills to make a difference in the lives of children through this mission trip and she is depending on community support to help make it a possibility.
She needs to raise more than $2,000, and Golling Buick GMC helped out – allowing her to have a fundraising car wash at their dealership on Lapeer Road in Lake Orion from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 30. Please come get a car wash and help Kristina raise the money she needs to make her trip a reality this August.
